TSA in Lieu of Medical Coverage

Full-time Employees electing not to enroll in a medical plan and who provide proof of other medical coverage, currently may elect to choose a TSA sponsor, to which the District will contribute a set amount monthly into the employee's account.

 

Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)

For benefit-eligible employees hired after December 31, 2012, the District contributes into a HRA for the employee's use for medical expenses after retirement.  An employee is vested in their account after 5 years.  The District contributes $200/month into each account for full-time employees or a pro-rated amount for employees with an FTE of at least 0.5 but less than 1.0.  For details, please review the Plan Highlights below:
