Thank you for your interest in serving on the board of trustees for the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. The application process is now closed.


Below is a brief schedule that outlines the steps in the selection process.


Tuesday, March 26, 2019, 4:00 p.m. Final deadline for receipt of applications to the Chancellor’s office
Tuesday, April 2, 2019 (District Office) Special Board of Trustees meeting: Candidate interviews
Tuesday, April 9, 2019 Publish the notice of provisional appointment
Tuesday, April 16, 2019 (Las Positas College)   Regular Board of Trustees meeting: New trustee swearing-in ceremony

The appointee will serve until the next regularly scheduled general election, in November 2020.
