ITS Services
District ITS staff is responsible for centralized information systems and services that provide technology solutions for the College and District operations. The primary services provided by District ITS include:
- Administrative computing
- Network infrastructure for the Wide Area Network and Local Area Network
- Servers for District-wide applications
- Desktop support
- Web development and support
- Centralized Help Desk services
- User training
- Video Conferencing and Streaming Video Services
- Technology initiatives supporting Measure B Facilities projects
The District ITS Staff consists of a Systems and Programming Group with 13 analysts (6 Senior Programmer Analysts, 3 Programmer Analysts, and 4 Administrative Systems Analysts), a Network Systems Group with 4 analysts (3 Network Systems Specialists, 1 Help Desk Specialist/Webmaster), a Computer Operations Group with 3 staff (1 Computer Operations Supervisor, 2 Computer Operators). Management who oversee the ITS Staff and/or do special projects include the Chief Technology Officer, Manager Network Systems & Services, and ITS Bond Project Manager.
