Lynda.com - New Instructions for 2017

We have learned that Lynda.com is now offered for FREE to all California community college faculty, staff, administrators and trustees through the state’s Professional Learning Network (PLN) portal.  Some of you may have already tried to log directly into Lynda.com and received an error that you can no longer access Lynda.com through your organization – you now have to go through the PLN portal in order to access Lynda.com.

Please see the documents below with instructions on how to create an account for the PLN portal in order to access Lynda.com.  In six easy steps you can set up your access to Lynda.com through the PLN portal.

The instructions include how to move your history from your previous Lynda.com account (if you had one) so that you can continue to keep track of which courses you have already completed.  Click on the instructions for “Existing Users” if you have already completed courses and you want to move your previous history to the new account.  Click on the instructions for “New Users” if you have never accessed Lynda.com before.
